Atlantic 10 Release (includes all conference pairings)
PITTSBURGH – Duquesne will face two of the Atlantic 10's four 2019 postseason tournament teams twice as part the 2019-20 men's basketball schedule pairings released by the conference today.
The 14 member schools will face each other once, and five schools twice, in the sixth consecutive year of an 18-game regular-season schedule.
DU's five home-and-home opponents: Dayton, Fordham, George Washington, St. Bonaventure and Saint Louis will be the same for the fourth consecutive season.
NCAA tournament participant Saint Louis (23-13) as well as NIT participants Davidson (24-10) and Dayton (21-12) head the list of Duquesne's home opponents. In addition, the Dukes will host Fordham, George Mason, George Washington, La Salle, Richmond and St. Bonaventure.
DU will play Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Saint Joseph's and VCU - the A-10's second NCAA Tournament team from a year ago - on the road in addition to the five home-and-home opponents.
All 14 conference teams will participate in the 2020 Atlantic 10 Championship at Brooklyn, N.Y.'s Barclays Center on March 11-15.
Duquesne returns eight players who saw action in 19 or more games - including four starters - from last year's team, which finished with the school's best record and conference finish since 2011 (10-8, tied for 6th).
