OLEAN, N.Y. - Duquesne cruised to a 6-1 victory over Atlantic 10 foe St. Bonaventure on Saturday at the SBU Fitness Center. The Dukes evened their overall record at 9-9 after winning three of their last four contests.
DU gained the momentum early by collecting the doubles point with wins by

Alex Mascioli (6-3 at No. 1) and 2
Chris Corrao /
Joey Matthews  (6-4 at No. 2).
The Dukes kept their focus in singles play, winning the first set at No. 1, 2 and 4. Alejandro Rodriguez (6-1, 6-2) and
Jared Isaacs (6-1, 6-2) won their matches at No. 2 and 4 singles, respectively. At No. 1 singles, Corrao dropped the second set before winning the third, with a final score of 7-5, 6-7, 6-3.
Mascioli dopped the first set before rallying and winning the next two at No. 3 singles by scores of 3-6, 6-4, 6-4.
Dane Bendel fell in a third set super tiebreak while
Graham Conron claimed a 7-5, 6-4 win at No. 6 singles for the Dukes. Â
