NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – After averaging an impressive 7.43 digs per set this past weekend, the Atlantic 10 announced on Monday afternoon that Ashley Larson has been named the conference's Co-Rookie of the Week.

Larson came within one of tying the Duquesne four-set digs record with 30 digs against Fordham on Friday night. The Dukes swept Rhode Island on Saturday night, as Larson supplied 22 digs in the victory.

The native of Highlands Ranch, Colo. has registered double-figures in digs in seven of her past eight matches. She leads the Dukes with 4.87 digs per set in 11 conference matches.

Larson shares the honor with Dayton's Amelia Moore.

Larson and the rest of the Dukes will host Saint Louis and Dayton this upcoming weekend at Mt. Lebanon High School. Duquesne battles the Billikens on Friday at 7:00 p.m. and then takes on the Flyers on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. Both matches will be available to watch on ESPN+.
