PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne lacrosse team participated in the spin4 Crohn's & Colitis Cures Ride over the weekend at the Thelma Lovette YMCA in the Hill District.
The Dukes raised over $3,400 for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, whose mission is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.
Eighty cents of every dollar donated goes directly to research for finding a cure for diseases which fall under the inflammatory bowel disease umbrella.
It was time to #PartyOnABike for the Dukes, who took part in the indoor cycling event in support of the more than three million Americans living with IBD.
