Madaline Gravante scored in the sixth minute and added an insurance goal in the 74^th minute to lead Pittsburgh to a 2-0 victory over Duquesne on Thursday night at Ambrose Urbanic Field in Oakland. The Dukes (2-3) return home to face Morehead State (1-5) on Sunday afternoon at Rooney Field.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Dukes came out of the gates on fire, as Hannah Nguyen turned around a Pitt defender and found a streaking Deena DeBaldo, but her shot was stopped 47 seconds in
• DeBaldo had another chance in the 17^th minute, but her shot went high
• Abby Losco had an opportunity in the 28^th minute, but her shot was wide
• DeBaldo recorded five of the Dukes' six shots
• Casey Aunkst, Kayla Winicki and Sarah Wilkinson played all 90 minutes
• Each team finished with six shots and three corner kicks
• The teams have split the last four matches in the series

We had a great opportunity less than a minute in and really had them on their heels in the first 45, but we came away with nothing to show for it.
