NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Duquesne women's cross country team finished in seventh place in the gold division at the 2018 Joe Piane Invitational hosted by the University of Notre Dame on Friday afternoon at Burke Golf Course.
Utah Valley won the event with a score of 74 followed by Saint Louis second (120) and Indiana State third (123).
The Dukes recorded a score of 172 on the day behind a 20th-place finish byÂ
Elizabeth Morris (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) with a time of 18:02.67.
Megan Aller (New Kensington, Pa./Kiski Area)Â crossed the finish line second for Duquesne in 27th with a mark of 18:19.71.
Morgan Perkins (Erie,Pa./Mercyhurst Prep) followed in 33rd (18:24.19) with
Ava Pietrzyk in 34th (18:24.30) and
Tori Kocsis in 60th (18:53.87) for the Dukes.
