Four Dukes Earn IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll Accolades

GRAND LAKE, Colo. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association released its 2018 Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll and Honor Squads on Monday afternoon, with four Duquesne lacrosse players garnering honor roll recognition. In addition, the Dukes were named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad as a team.

Senior Rachel Hughes (Unionville, Pa./Unionville) along with juniors Courtney Battles (Finksburg, Md./Westminster), Erin Conway (Basking Ridge, N.J./Ridge) and Sarah Kollhoff (Exton, Pa./Downington) each earned Honor Roll distinction for Duquesne.

To be eligible for the honor roll, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.

To qualify as an academic honor squad, the team must have posted a 3.0 or higher team GPA for the academic year.

This marks the second straight IWLCA Honor Roll selection for Hughes, who was one of five honorees for the Dukes last season.
