THE SERIES
- The series between the Dukes and Rams is knotted at 1-1.

- Duquesne earned a 12-10 win over VCU in the first game between the two teams in 2016 at Rooney Field, before the Rams claimed a 13-10 victory in Richmond last season.

SCOUTING THE DUKES
- The Dukes split a pair of Atlantic 10 contests to open conference play last week, topping St. Bonaventure 24-14 before dropping a 19-10 decision to Richmond. Junior attacker Megan Buettner (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley) netted a career-high six goals to lead Duquesne over the Bonnies while sophomore midfielder Rilee Bradshaw (Middletown, Md./Middletown) had a team-high three goals against the Spiders.

- Sophomore midfielder Maddie Hart (Sykesville, Md./Century) ranks second in the A-10 with 54 draw controls on the season. She has tallied at least 10 draw controls in three games this year. Hart has recorded 23 draw controls in the last three contests for Duquesne.

- With 125 career goals, senior attacker Jill Vacanti (Penfield, N.Y./Penfield) needs three goals to become one of the top 10 goal scorers in program history. Katie Rekart, who played for the Dukes from 2008-11, currently ranks 10th all-time in school history with 127 career goals. Vacanti has a team-high 20 goals on the season while Buettner and freshman attacker Carlee Braverman (Laurel, N.J./Lenape) are tied for second with 17 goals apiece.

SCOUTING THE RAMS
- VCU has dropped its first two A-10 matchups at Richmond (21-11) and St. Joseph's (18-7) entering Friday's contest in Pittsburgh.

- The Rams' two wins this season have come against Longwood (15-8) and LIU-Brooklyn (24-8).

- Sky Hyatt leads VCU with 26 goals, good for sixth in the league. She is also fourth in the conference with 52 draw controls.

- Molly Barcikowski ranks sixth in the A-10 with 16 assists on the season. She also paces the Rams with 32 points on the year.
