April 3, 2018 PITTSBURGH - Duquesne University and head coach Keith Dambrot will host a 2018 Nike Championship Basketball Clinic - open to coaches on all levels - on April 20-22 at the Palumbo Center.
The clinic is one of six this spring with the others being conducted in Chicago, Kansas City, Myrtle Beach, S.C., Biloxi, Miss. and Las Vegas.
Coach Dambrot will conduct a session on fundamental practice drills as part of the three-day event. The clinic, which includes all sessions on the Palumbo Center court with players, will feature some of basketball's brightest minds, including basketball hall of famers Bob Knight and Bob Hurley, Sr., Illinois' Brad Underwood and Oakland's Greg Kampe among others.
Instruction, which will begin on Friday evening and run through Sunday morning, will emphasize all aspects of coaching from offensive and defensive schemes to player development, practice planning and shooting skills. For a tentative clinic schedule, click here.
