WASHINGTON - Chassidy Omogrosso scored 22 points, Julijana Vojinovic added 19 and Kadri-Ann Lass recorded 14 -- including her 1,000th career point in Duquesne's 69-66 victory at Georgetown in Round 2 of the WNIT on Monday night.
The Dukes (25-7) also got 10 rebounds in 18 minutes from Eniko Kuttor, who was a +20 and eight boards from Paige Cannon.
Georgetown (16-16) was led by Big East First-Team member Dionna White, who scored a game-high 33 points. Cynthia Petke scored 24 for GU.
After Omogrosso opened the contest with a 3-pointer, White answered with the equalizer 10 seconds later. Georgetown would a take a nine point lead with 2:19 remaining in the 1st quarter before back-to-back jumpers by Omogrosso made the score 20-15 at the end of the quarter.
The Dukes scored the first 14 points of the 2nd quarter -- nine by Vojinovic -- to give Duquesne a 29-20 lead. They would see their first double-digit lead after an Omogrosso 3-pointer that made the score 39-28. Duquesne held a five point advantage heading into halftime 39-34.
A wild 3rd quarter saw two ties and six lead changes. A pair of field goals by White made it a two possession game at 54-50 heading into the final 10 minutes.
By the midway point of the 4th quarter, Georgetown was able cut the deficit to a field goal at 62-60. GU had a chance to tie the contest at the end of regulation, but Petke's attempt was blocked by Amanda Kalin.
Up next, Round 3 has Duquesne traveling to Queens, N.Y. to take on St. John's on Thursday evening.

- With tonight's win, Duquesne is 8-8 all-time in the WNIT
- Omogrosso moved into 13th place all-time with 1,298 career points
