MEET NOTES
• Duquesne hits the road for the Magnus Cup hosted by Cleveland State at Busbey Natatorium on Friday, Nov. 17 - Sunday, Nov. 19.

• Prelims are slated for a 9 a.m. start each day with finals set to begin at 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday followed by a 3 p.m. start on Sunday.

• The Dukes will compete against Division I teams Cleveland State, Xavier, George Washington, Akron, Youngstown State and St. Francis along with Fairmont State, Cumberlands, John Carroll, Saginaw Valley, Indiana (Pa.), Simon Fraser, West Virginia Tech and California (Pa.).

• Duquesne has recorded a 7-0 start to the season and the Dukes are coming off a 168-125 victory over Youngstown State two weeks ago. DU won nine events on the day en route to the triumph over the Penguins.

• Freshman Emma Brinton (Landenburg, Pa./Avon Grove) was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week for the third straight week following her performance against Youngstown State. Brinton earned victories in the 100-yard freestyle (54.26) and the 200-yard freestyle (1:55.72). She becomes just the second Dukes swimmer to garner Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week accolades three times, joining Katrina Streiner, who won the award three times in 2005.
