Duquesne freshman running back A.J. Hines was presented the STATS FCS Jerry Rice Award - by the Hall of Fame receiver himself - at the STATS FCS Awards Banquet in Frisco, Texas last night.

The award is presented to the outstanding freshman at the FCS level. Hines is the first Northeast Conference player to receive the award.
