FIRST QUARTER
The Dukes held the Colonials without a field goal for the first 5:07 of the quarter while building an early 9-1 lead. Overall, the Duquesne defense held GW to 10 percent shooting (2-of-20) while taking a 13-7 advantage at the end of the quarter.

SECOND QUARTER
Szamosi's basket at 7:59 gave the Dukes their first double-digit lead of the game at 19-9. Kadri-Ann Lass' layup at 6:57 gave the Dukes their largest lead of the half -- 12 points at 24-12. GW would use an 11-4 run to get within five points of tying before Vojinovic's 3-pointer closed out the scoring with Duquesne leading 31-23.

THIRD QUARTER
Although George Washington cut the deficit to two points twice, Duquesne would not surrender the lead. Nina Aho's layup and a pair of Szamosi free throws gave the Dukes a 45-39 lead heading into the 4th quarter.

FOURTH QUARTER
The lead would get as high as 15 points on an Aho jumper that made the score 58-43 at the 3:47 mark. Vojinovic would hit seven free throws in the final 51 seconds to seal the contest.

COACH BURT QUOTES
"This was a good team win with many contributions from several players. Amadea is in a groove right now and is leading with her actions and words. I'm very happy with her work on the glass."

Szamosi was coming off a 10-rebound performance in the Dukes' win over Richmond.

"Conor was the spark plug tonight. Her drives were critical to her success. Her defense and boxing out were outstanding. Page and Nina gave us quality minutes that do not show up in the box score."

UP NEXT
Duquesne heads to Philadelphia to take on Saint Joseph's (9-12, 6-3 A-10) on Wednesday night. SJU was a 70-63 winner over St. Bonaventure earlier today.
