The Duquesne swimming team defeated Saint Francis U by a final score of 147-107 on Saturday afternoon at Towers Pool.

First place finishes for the Dukes came from Summer Svitavsky (1000 Yard Freestyle), Carson Gross (200 Yard Freestyle), Abby Watson (100 Yard Backstroke), Kirsten Hillsley (100 Yard Breaststroke), Morgan Smith (200 Yard Butterfly), Morgan Fink (200-yard Backstroke), Stauffer (200 Yard Breaststroke) and Summer Svitavksy (500 Yard Freestyle).

Additionally, the Dukes celebrated the 2017 senior class comprised of Fink, Molly O'Brien, Laura Murphy, Hallie McCue and Lilly Nelson prior to the start of the meet. This year's seniors helped lead Duquesne to their highest Atlantic 10 Conference finish in program history last season, placing second.

The Dukes head to Athens, Ohio to face Ohio U on Jan. 21, with the meet set for 1 p.m.
