QUICK NOTES
Duquesne (15-8, 5-5), which saw its three-game win streak snapped on Saturday at home vs. Davidson (82-93), heads to Ohio for a rematch with No. 19 (AP)/ No. 17 (ESPN) Dayton (19-3, 9-1) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9 (ASN). This is DU's first game against a ranked Dayton team since Feb. 10, 1960 (a 79-66 Dukes home win over the No. 15 Flyers).
DU, which opened Atlantic 10 play 0-3, won five of six prior to the Davidson loss. Senior guards Derrick Colter and Micah Mason scored 22 and 21 points respectively against the Wildcats. Mason, DU's second-leading scorer (16.3 ppg.), missed DU's 66-58 loss to Dayton on Jan. 2 with an ankle injury.
Duquesne is holding opponents to their lowest field goal percentage in 45 years (.402). The defensive field goal percentage is the best by a DU team since the 1970-71 NCAA Tournament team held opponents to .389. The Dukes have held 10 opponents under 40 percent this season. Only three teams - Pitt (.554), South Carolina State (.456) & VCU (.525) - have shot better than 45 percent against Duquesne this year. DU is limiting its A-10 opponents to .392 shooting.

SERIES QUICK NOTES
This is the 73rd meeting in a series that dates to Jan. 5, 1953 ... Dayton leads 49-23, including a 27-9 lead in Atlantic 10 regular season games and a 29-6 advantage in games played at Dayton.
Duquesne, which lost 16 in a row to Dayton from 1997 through 2004, is 8-11 against the Flyers in the past 19 games.
Last year, the two split home wins, with Dayton winning by 26 at UD Arena (81-55 on Jan. 3) and Duquesne winning by 10 at CONSOL Energy Center (83-73 on Feb. 21). Dayton took the first meeting this season, 66-58, at Palumbo Center on Jan. 2. It was Duquesne's second game without injured starter Jeremiah Jones (season-ending knee injury). DU was also without second-leading scorer Micah Mason, who missed the game with an ankle injury.
ON THE FLYERS
Dayton, the preseason pick to finish 1st in the A-10, is 12-1 at home (the lone loss came on Dec. 12 to Chattanooga, 61-59) ... UD, led by first-year James Madison transfer Charles Cooke (16.1 ppg.), is coming off a 98-64 win at George Mason on Saturday ... are ranked No. 19 by AP and No. 17 in the latest ESPN Coaches Poll.

The Dukes have already eclipsed their highest win total under fourth-year head coach Jim Ferry (13-17 in 2013-14).
Duquesne has won its past two Atlantic 10 road games (at George Mason and at Saint Louis). The school record for consecutive A-10 road wins is three set in 2010-11.
The Dukes have outrebounded 14 of 23 opponents and are 13-1 in those games. DU is 14-4 when scoring 70 or more, 9-1 when hitting 10 or more "3s", 14-0 when leading with 5:00 left and 12-1 when leading at the half.
DU is holding opponents to their lowest shooting percentage in 45 years. The opponent .402 mark is the lowest since 1970-71 (.389).
Duquesne, which shot .365 in its first three conference games, is shooting .459 in its past seven. DU is averaging 82.9 ppg. over that span.
The trio of L.G. Gill (20-21, .952), Micah Mason (24-29, .828) and Derrick Colter (66-79, .835) is shooting a combined .853 (110-of-129) from the foul line in conference play.
Derrick Colter scored 50 points in DU's two games last week to earn A-10 Player of the Week. He has scored 20 ore more in Duquesne's past three games: 27 vs. La Salle, 23 at Saint Louis and 22 vs. Davidson.
Micah Mason - who topped the 1,000-point career mark vs. SC State on Dec. 16 - topped the 1,000-point mark in a Duquesne uniform with his first basket, a 3-pointer, vs. Davidson. The Drake transfer enters the Dayton game with 1,182 points overall, including 1,020 in 78 games at DU.
Freshman Mar'Qywell Jackson, who scored 26 points in Duquesne's first 19 games, has scored 35 in DU's past four. Jackson is coming off a career-high 13 points in 22 minutes vs. Davidson. Jackson is 8-of-17 (.471) from the 3-point arc in his past four games.
NEXT UP: Duquesne returns home to face UMass on Sunday, Feb. 14 at 3:00 p.m. (ASN) in the annual Chuck Cooper Classic. The game will also feature recognition of DU's All-Century Team in conjunction with the school's 100th season of basketball.
