QUICK NOTES
• Duquesne (15-12, 5-9) heads to St. Bonaventure (18-7, 10-4), in the second of back-to-back road games, on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 7:00 p.m. (TWC-TV Western N.Y. viewing area / A-10 Digital Network). The Dukes, who are coming off a 77-74 defeat at Rhode Island on Saturday, are looking to end a five-game losing streak. The SBU game completes DU's five home-and-home series'. The Dukes defeated the Bonnies, 95-88, at Palumbo Center on Jan. 16.

• DU is 3-6 on the road (2-5 in A-10) with conference wins at George Mason and Saint Louis. St. Bonaventure is 11-2 at home, including a 5-1 mark in league games. SBU has won the past seven meetings with Duquesne at Reilly Center.

• Senior guard Micah Mason has scored 20 or more in a career-best six-straight games (24.8 ppg. over that span). The streak is the longest by a Duke since Derrick Alston did it six times in 1992-93. Mason, the second-leading 3-point shooter in NCAA history (.472, 283-600), is 29-of-55 (.527) from the arc over that span. To put Mason's 3-point shooting prowess in perspective, he could miss his next 25 attempts (conf. recognizes DU att. only, .466, 243-521) and still break the A-10 career record held by Saint Joseph's Matt Carroll (.445, 294-661 from 2002-05).

THE SERIES
Series Record: Duquesne leads 59-56
At Olean/Buffalo: St. Bonaventure leads 37-18

SERIES QUICK NOTES
• This is the 116th meeting in a series that dates to Feb. 13, 1920 ... Duquesne leads 59-56 ... DU leads 31-30 in Atlantic 10 regular season games ... in games played at Olean/Buffalo, SBU leads 37-18 ... the Dukes have won seven of the last nine at Palumbo Center (including a 95-88 win on Jan. 16), while SBU has won the last seven at Reilly Center ... Duquesne owns more conference wins over St. Bonaventure (31) than any other A-10 school.

• St. Bonaventure is Duquesne's most frequent all-time opponent ... this is the 65th consecutive season the two have met ... this is the 11th consecutive year the two are meeting home-and-home ... last year, the Bonnies swept the series, 100-97 in OT in Pittsburgh on Jan. 22 and 92-75 in Olean on Feb. 28 ... DU won the first meeting this year at Pittsburgh on Jan. 16 (95-88).

• Three of the past five meetings have been determined by four or fewer points.

ON THE BONNIES
St. Bonaventure is 11-2 at home, including a 5-1 record in A-10 games ... Dayton (85-79) is the lone A-10 school to beat the Bonnies at Reilly Center this season ... SBU, led by the high-scoring trio of Marcus Posley (18.4 ppg.), Jaylen Adams (18.5 ppg.) and Dion Wright (16.0 ppg.), is coming off a 79-72 win at #15 (AP) Dayton on Saturday ... Adams was 5-of-9 from the arc and 10-of-10 from the line in leading the Bonnies to their first road win over a ranked team since 1975 ... SBU led for all but 1:59.

LEFTOVERS FROM RHODE ISLAND
Leftovers from Duquesne's 77-74 loss at Rhode Island on Saturday: Micah Mason led the Dukes in scoring for the fourth consecutive game with 23 points ... the senior guard went 5-of-10 from the 3-point arc in posting his sixth consecutive 20-point game ... his backcourt mate Derrick Colter finished with 8 points and 7 assists ... it was just the second time this season Colter has scored in single digits ... Eric James (13 points, 9 rebounds) and TySean Powell (11 points) were DU's other double-digit scorers ... Powell scored 10 in 13 second-half minutes ... DU held Rhode Island to 44.4 percent shooting the second half ... the Rams shot 61.5 percent in building a 42-35 halftime lead ... Duquesne, which had four more field goals than URI, was outscored 21-10 from the foul line ... Rhody, which was held to eight second-half field goals, scored 13 of its last 17 points from the stripe (the Rams had two field goals over the last 9:30) ... URI's 44 field goal attempts by a Ferry Era DU opponent low ... there were four ties and two lead changes before Rhody took the lead for good on a Jared Terrell free throw with 8:01 left.

TRENDING
• DU ranks third in the nation (through Feb. 21) in defensive rebounds per game at 29.56.

• Duquesne, whose defensive field goal pct. was .434 last season, is limiting opponents to .410 shooting. The mark is the best by a DU team since the 1970-71 NCAA Tournament squad held opponents to .389. It is the best by a DU team since the shot clock was introduced in 1985-86.

• DU's current 79.6 ppg. scoring average is its highest since 2008 (82.3).

• The Dukes have outrebounded 15 of 26 opponents and are 13-2 in those games.

• DU is 14-8 when scoring 70 or more, 9-4 when hitting 10 or more "3s", 14-2 when leading with 5:00 left and 12-3 when leading at the half. In an anomaly of sorts, the Dukes have scored 70 or more in each of their past five games (all defeats). DU led with five minutes left in two of its past four games - at Dayton and vs. UMass - and has had double-digit second half leads in three of its past four games (Dayton, UMass & GW).

• The Dukes are 54-138 (.391) from the arc during their current five-game losing streak: 13-34 vs. Davidson, 11-25 at Dayton, 12-31 vs. UMass, 10-27 vs. GW & 8-21 at URI.

TySean Powell, who is shooting .613 in conference play, came off the bench to score 10 of his 11 points in 13 second-half minutes at Rhode Island. Powell, hit 5-of-6 shots in the second half, including a pair of highlight-reel dunks. He also blocked two shots after intermission.

NEXT UP: Duquesne returns home to face Richmond on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 6:00 p.m. (ASN). The final weekend home game will be Senior Day for final year players Derrick Colter, Nick Foschia, Jeremiah Jones and Micah Mason.
