Nov. 15, 2016 NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Seniors Autumn Greba and Valerie Palermo have received Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference honors, as announced by the league office today.
Greba, who finished 6th at the 2016 A-10 Championship with a 5k time of 17:29.2 is an English major carrying a 3.98 GPA. The senior from North Huntingdon, Pa. also had a 4th place finish at the UB Stampede Invite (21:54.7) earlier this season and 6th at the Duquesne Duals (18:40.3). This is her second straight A-10 All-Academic honor.
A senior from Webster, N.Y., Palermo is an occupational therapy major with a 3.7 GPA. The 3rd place finisher at the 2016 A-10 Championship (17:20.4), Palermo also took 2nd place at the Duquesne Duals (18:36.9) and 4th (21:54.2 ) at the UB Stampede Invite earlier this season.
Duquesne closed out the 2016 season last Friday, finishing 10th of 28 teams at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional.
