PITTSBURGH -- Duquesne will tip-off the 2015-16 Atlantic 10 season at home on national television against 2015 NCAA participant Dayton as part of a conference tripleheader it was announced by the A-10 office today.
The Jan. 2 Dayton game, which is the first of nine Duquesne conference games that will be televised, will be broadcast nationally by NBCSN at 2:30 p.m.
Additional home conference TV games include Jan. 16 vs. St. Bonaventure (ASN), Jan. 26 vs. La Salle (ASN), Feb. 6 vs. Davidson (NBCSN), Feb. 14 vs. Massachusetts (ASN) and Feb. 27 vs. Richmond (ASN). DU's other three home opponents are Saint Louis (Jan. 13), George Washington (Feb. 17) and Fordham (Mar. 2).
Duquesne's three televised conference road games, all which will air on ASN, are at George Washington (Jan. 9), at Saint Louis (Jan. 30) and at Dayton (Feb. 9). The Dukes will also play at Davidson (Jan. 6), at VCU (Jan. 20), at George Mason (Jan. 23), at Rhode Island (Feb. 20), at St. Bonaventure (Feb. 24) and at Saint Joseph's (Mar. 5).
It was also announced that the non-conference Dec. 4 City Game vs. Pitt at CONSOL Energy Center will be televised nationally by CBSSN.
A record 107 national television games make up the 2015-16 A-10 men's basketball package. The conference has nearly doubled its amount of TV appearances over the past four years.
The 14 member Atlantic 10 schools will face each other once and five schools twice in the second-straight year of an 18-game regular-season league schedule.
DU's five home-and-home opponents - which are unchanged from last season - include 2015 NCAA tournament participants Davidson and Dayton as well as NIT participant George Washington, Saint Louis and longtime rival St. Bonaventure.
The 2016 Atlantic 10 Championship will once again be played at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. on March 9-13 with all 14 conference members qualifying. There will be a pair of first round games Wednesday, March 9 on ASN followed by second round games on Thursday, March 10. The winners of those four games will advance to the quarterfinal round on Friday, March 11. The second round and quarterfinal games will be televised by NBCSN. Semifinal games will air on CBSSN on Saturday, March 12 and the championship game will be carried by CBS on NCAA Selection Sunday, March 13. The top four regular-season finishers will receive first round byes.
Fourth-year head coach Jim Ferry and the Dukes open the season at home against Seton Hill on Nov. 13.
Fans can get their first look at the 2015-16 Dukes in an exhibition game versus Urbana on Tuesday, Nov. 10.

2015-16 SCHEDULE QUICK NOTES The Dukes are scheduled to appear on television a minimum of nine times in Atlantic 10 Conference play. DU will appear on NBCSN twice and ASN seven times. Additional regional/local TV games may be added.
DU will have five home conference games in February/March. It is just the second time in the past nine seasons that the Dukes will play five of their last nine A-10 games at home.
Duquesne, which will be celebrating its 100th season in 2015-16, is beginning its 39th year as a member of the Atlantic 10.
The 14-team Atlantic 10 will maintain an 18-game schedule. Each conference member will face five teams in a home-and-home series. Duquesne's home-and-home opponents in 2015-16 are unchanged: Davidson, Dayton, George Washington, St. Bonaventure and Saint Louis. All 14 teams will qualify for the Atlantic 10 Championship at Brooklyn's Barclays Center March 9-13 with the top four regular season finishers receiving byes to the quarterfinal round.
