DUBLIN, IRELAND - L.G. Gill scored 11 of his 16 points in the first half as Duquesne put the clamps on defensively in a 95-57 win over Templeogue Basketball Club of Dublin in the third of four games on the Dukes' Ireland Tour.

Starters Derrick Colter and Jeremiah Jones added 7 points and 5 steals and 7 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists respectively.

Josh Steel and Nick Foschia had 8 points apiece off the bench.

The game, played before a capacity crowd at Oblate Hall, was a nip-and-tuck affair early, with neither team leading by more than six in a first quarter that featured eight lead changes.

DU opened the second quarter with back-to-back buckets by Gill and Colter before Jones buried a 3-pointer from the corner to make it 27-19.

Duquesne took its first double-digit lead on a Rene Castro jumper that made it 31-21. A Steel layup gave DU a 37-24 lead with four minutes left in the half.

The Dukes limited Templeogue to two field goals in the second quarter in building a 47-28 halftime lead.

Gill had 11 points and 5 rebounds at the half.

Gill scored five of the first seven points of the second half as DU took a 54-28 lead.

Duquesne led 58-33 when TySean Powell swooped in from the left side and was fouled on a dunk with 3:44 left.

The Dukes emptied the bench shortly thereafter.

Jackson hit three 3-pointers in the first three minutes of the fourth quarter to make it 83-48.
