GALWAY, IRELAND - The Duquesne men's basketball team capped a long day of travel with a two-hour clinic for boys and girls at Calasanctius College in nearby Oranmore.

Nearly 75 kids took part in a lively session that included both instruction and shooting games, followed by a brief dunk display by the Dukes.

"Our guys did a great job of engaging a great group of kids," said head coach Jim Ferry. "It was good to get back on the court and stretch our legs after a long flight. The energy level was fantastic and from the looks of things, I think the kids had as much fun as we did."

The Dukes, who left campus on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m., arrived at Ireland's Shannon Airport at 8:30 a.m. local time Wednesday morning.

The team will play the first of three games during its nine-day tour on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. against a Galway Select team.
