PITTSBURGH - Duquesne head men's basketball coach Jim Ferry announced that freshman forward Nakye Sanders is currently recovering from left knee surgery the he underwent on July 20.

The 6-8, 225-pound Staten Island, N.Y. native will be re-evaluated in 3-4 weeks.

Sanders will accompany the team on its trip to Ireland August 4-12, but will not participate in practice or games.
