PITTSBURGH -- Darius Lewis scored 14 of his 16 points in the first half, and Derrick Colter added 15 as Duquesne cruised to an 91-62 exhibition win over Division II Urbana at Palumbo Center.
The Dukes, who jumped out to a 21-1 lead, held the Blue Knights without a field goal for the first 7:59.
Micah Mason, who hit four 3-pointers in the first seven minutes of the second half, finished with 16 points and Jeremiah Jones added 11 for the Dukes who shot 52.5 percent.
Mike Newton led Urbana, which averaged 81.4 ppg. last season, with 14 points.
Colter hit a pair of 3-pointers, and Lewis added four points in the first three minutes, to help the Dukes to a 14-0 lead. DU made it 21-1 on a Rene Castro layup, before Urbana hit its first field goal - a 3-pointer - with just over 12 minutes left in the half.
Duquesne went on a 17-3 run over the final five minutes to build its lead to 50-20 at intermission.
Mason's second 3-pointer of the second half gave the Dukes a 36-point lead and his fourth made it 70-31.
DU held Urbana to 39.1 percent shooting, including 5-of-26 from the 3-point arc.
Mason (4-7) and Colter (3-7) were a combined 7-of-14 from 3-point for the Dukes, who finished 12-of-29.
Duquesne opens the regular season at home against Seton Hill on Friday, Nov. 13 at 7:00 p.m. (ET).
