PRINCETON, N.J. - The Duquesne University women's cross country team placed fourth out of 24 teams competing in the Princeton Invitational on Saturday morning. Following the Red & Blue were UMBC, Bucknell and Georgia, among others.
Leading the Dukes in 19th place in the field of 206 runners was redshirt sophomore Jenny DelSignore with a time of 21:46.1. Right behind in 20th place was junior Valerie Palemo at the 21:47.3 mark.
Senior Jenna Gigliotti finished in 21:52.4, good for 23rd place. Next, redshirt junior Autumn Greba crossed the line at 22:26.0 in 42nd place and senior Louise Prevoteau took 60th place at 22:41.1. The Dukes, who scored 157 points trailed only Penn (71), Guelph - a Canadian college located 60 miles west of Toronto (82) and and Pittsburgh (111).
Duquesne will compete in Richmond for the Atlantic 10 Conference Championships on Saturday, October 31 at 10:00 a.m.
