Nine Duquesne University women's lacrosse players received a total of 12 Atlantic 10 post-season awards as voted on by the league's coaches and sports information directors.

Junior midfielder Amanda Kidder (Fairport, N.Y./Victor) was named the Atlantic 10 Midfielder of the Year and was also placed on the All-Conference First Team. It marks the second straight season she received both awards. Kidder is joined on the first team by senior attack Caitlin Prince (Sykesville, Md./Liberty) and junior midfielder Clare Hurley (Penfield, N.Y./Penfield).

Being chosen to the All-Conference Second Team were senior attack Haley Marafioti (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua Academy) and junior defender Casey Briglia (West Chester, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) while freshmen Kaelin Shaw (Laurel, Md./Atholton), Sarah Klaben (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) and Tess Drotar (Mars, Pa./Pine Richland) were all tabbed to the All-Rookie Team.

In addition, Kidder, Briglia and junior midfielder Michelle Morris (West Windsor, N.J./West Windsor-Plainsboro) were all named to the Academic All-Conference Team.

The Dukes finished the 2014 regular season with a 14-3 overall record and a 5-2 slate in Atlantic 10 play and are the four seed in the upcoming Atlantic 10 Championship (May 2-4) in Richmond, Va. They will face top-seeded and 13th-ranked UMass on Friday at 3:30 pm in the semifinals of the tournament. The other semifinal pits host Richmond against La Salle at 1:00 pm. The championship game is Sunday at 1:00 pm. The champion receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.
