Line Lovberg Named Academic All-Conference

Duquesne University junior swimmer Line Lovberg (Oslo, Norway/Norges Toppidrettsgymnas) has been named to the 2014 Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference Team.

Lovberg, a psychology major, won a bronze medal at the Atlantic 10 Championship in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:00.58. In addition, she helped the Dukes capture bronze in the 800 free relay with a school record time of 7:24.84, placed seventh at A-10's in the 100 butterfly with a time of 56.18, just .39 off her own school record time and won the consolation finals of the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.76. She competed at the 2013 U.S. Winter National Championships in December as well.

Duquesne has had at least one swimmer named Academic All-Conference in each of the past 14 years and in 19 of the possible 20 years the Dukes have been eligible for the award.
