Red and Blue Win Princeton Invitational

Results

Duquesne's women's cross country team used a total team effort in winning the 25-team Princeton Invitational Saturday in New Jersey. Amber Valimont led the Dukes in third place in the 206-runner field with a time of 21:27. She was followed by Haley Pisarcik in fifth in 21:41 and Valerie Palermo in ninth in 22:00.

Also contributing to the team score of 47 were Megan Baritot in 17th in 22:16, Danica Snyder in 18th in 22:17, Elise Farris in 22nd in 22:19 and Hannah Scipio in 38th in 22:33.

The Dukes return to action on November 2 when they compete in the Atlantic 10 Championship.
