NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - After leading the Duquesne volleyball team to a 2-1 record at the Penn State Classic while recording 42 kills, 24 digs and hitting .326, junior outside hitter Allison Foschia has been named Atlantic 10 Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Foschia started the event with a match-high 13 kills while hitting .426 in the Dukes' 3-0 win over Eastern Illinois. The following day against #4 Penn State, she tied the match-best with 11 digs. Foschia ended the weekend with a career-high 21 kills in Duquesne's 3-1 victory over Portland. For her efforts, she was named to the All-Tournament Team. This is Foschia's second A-10 award this year, earning Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 4th.

The Dukes (10-5) host Pittsburgh (9-4) in The City Match tomorrow night. Match time starts at 7:00 p.m. Conference play opens on Friday night against VCU at 6:00 p.m. Both matches are at the Palumbo Center.
