Abshire Named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Freshman libero Patti Abshire was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week as announced by league offices on Monday.

Abshire finished last week with 53 digs, averaging 4.82 per set.

The Dukes (10-4) open up A-10 Conference play against George Washington on Friday night. Match time is 7:00 p.m.
