EVANSTON, Ill. - The Duquesne volleyball team improved to 10-4 on the season after winning both of its matches on Saturday in the final day of the Wildcat Classic hosted by Northwestern University.
Taylor Jones and Ashley Buse were named to the all-tournament team.
After spending its last 10 matches away from home, the Dukes will open Atlantic 10 Conference play on Friday night against George Washington at 7:00 p.m. DU will stay at home through the weekend to host Charlotte on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

Sara Scheirman (14 kills, 12 digs) and
Allison Foschia (16 kills, 16 digs) in a 3-0 (25-18, 33-31, 25-18) shutout of New Mexico State.
Liz Homan had nine kills and hit .375. Buse recorded five blocks and Jones had 36 assists in the victory

Foschia recorded her second consecutive double-double with 10 kills and season-high 22 digs as the Dukes handed Colgate a 3-1 (25-20, 23-25, 25-15, 25-20) loss. Homan had 12 kills and hit .375, Jones had 43 assists and Patti Abshire had a match-high 23 digs.
