Duquesne's women's cross country team hosted Pitt and Bucknell Saturday morning at Schenley Park and took down the Panthers, 15-50 while narrowly losing to the Bison, 27-32. Senior Meg Ecker finished first overall in the 39-runner field in 18:03 followed by sophomore Amber Valimont in second in 18:08.

Also scoring points for the Dukes were Danica Snyder in sixth place in 18:29, Haley Pisarcik in 11th place in 18:48 and Bethany Walker in 14th place in 18:55.

The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, Sept. 30 as they compete in the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh.
