TORONTO - The Duquesne men's basketball team has added a game at Brock University to its Canadian Tour schedule. The Dukes, who are 2-0 on the tour, will face A-Game Hoops on Sunday at 2:00 in Toronto before making the hour-and-one-half bus ride to St. Catherines to take on the Badgers in the basketball version of a day-night doubleheader.
Duquesne will be Brock's third NCAA Division I opponent in the month of August.
The Badgers dropped their first two contests to Murray State (L 79-39) on August 5 and North Florida (L 85-81) on August 9.
Brock has been led by former CIS Rookie of the Year Didi Mukendi who has averaged 13.5 points per game. Also among team leaders are seniors Andrew Ferguson (11.0 PPG) and Andrew Kraus (10.5 PPG). The trio have combined for 12-for-23 (52.2%) from beyond the arc.
Brock is coached by former two-time All-Canadian and five-time OUA All-Star Brad Rootes, the youngest coach in the CIS at the age of 26.
