Duquesne University sophomore Meghan Smith (Chapel Hill, N.C./East Chapel Hill) was named the Atlantic 10 Women's Swimming Performer of the Week for the week ending Nov. 6 after winning five races for the Dukes over the weekend.

Smith picked up victories in the 200-yard butterfly (2:07.67) and 200 breaststroke in Friday's 134-71 win at Niagara. She followed that up on Saturday by winning the 200 freestyle (1:55.71), 200 butterfly (2:05.98) and 200 individual medley (2:10.82) in a tri-meet with La Salle and St. Bonaventure. The two-time 2010 A-10 Rookie of the Week honoree also helped the Dukes win the 400 medley relay on both days.

The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, Nov. 11 as they travel to Youngstown State to face the host Penguins and Cleveland State at 4:00 pm.
