MADISON, Wis. - The Duquesne volleyball team split its two match in the final day of the 2010 InnTowner Inivtational held on the campus of the University of Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon.

In the Dukes' first match of the day, they took an early 1-0 (25-18) set lead on Loyola, Ill. but dropped the next three 25-23, 25-19, 25-14. Nicole Wright recorded a double -double of 13 kills and 17 digs. Amy Palko had a team-best 19 digs for DU.

In the event finale, Duquesne made easy work of Chicago State 3-0 (25-7, 25-11, 25-17). Allison Foschia had a match-best 10 kills and Palko added 11 digs. Sarah Svorinic recorded 26 assists.

Wright was named to the all-tournament team.

The next action for Dukes will be Tuesday when they take on Saint Francis, Pa. in Loretto. Match time is 7:00 p.m. The Dukes have only lost once to the Red Flash since it became a Division I team in 1986.
