PITTSBURGH - Duquesne's short trip to Moon Township, Pa. to face crosstown Northeast Conference rival Robert Morris on Oct. 30 highlights the five-game NEC television package released today.
The game, scheduled for a noon kickoff, will be televised live nationally by Fox College Sports and will also be carried live locally by PCNC. It will air on FSN Pittsburgh on tape delay on Nov. 1 at 7:00 p.m.
Saint Francis, Pa. hosts Sacred Heart in the first game of the package on September 18. A complete schedule of televised NEC games is listed below.
Duquesne, which is beginning its third season as an associate member of the Northeast Conference, returns 17 starters from last year's 3-8 team. DU was picked to finish seventh in a preseason poll of NEC coaches released earlier this month.
The Dukes, who are in their sixth season under head coach Jerry Schmitt, open under the lights at Rooney Field against Bucknell on Sept. 4. DU, who defeated the Patriot League's Bison 24-19 last year at Rooney Field - will be looking to post back-to-back wins in the series for the first time since 1933 & 1934.
