PITTSBURGH - Duquesne University head men's basketball coach Ron Everhart announced today that associate head coach Bill Barton has resigned accept an assistant coaching position at Marshall University.

Barton, who joined the DU staff as an assistant in July of 2007, was elevated to associate head coach in October of 2008. He came to Duquesne after a highly successful stint at head coach at Notre Dame Prep in Fitchburg, Mass.

"I want to thank Bill for the time and effort he put into the Duquesne basketball program," said Everhart. "Bill is a tireless worker who always represented the University and basketball program with class and professionalism. I wish him and his family the best."
