DUKES AT BGSU: Duquesne (1-1), coming off a 69-63 road loss at Robert Morris on Friday, makes it two in a row away from home when it takes on Bowling Green (1-2) on Monday, Nov. 22 at 7:00 p.m. BGSU, which is 1-0 at home, dropped a 69-50 decision at Michigan on Thursday. The Falcons return three starters and eight lettermen from last year's 14-16 team. This is Bowling Green's final year in Anderson Arena which has been the school's home for 50 seasons (since 1960-61). BGSU, which is 457-185 (.712) at Anderson, will move into the $36 million Stroh Center in 2011-12. Duquesne led by 13 in the first half at RMU, but couldn't hold on as the Colonials cut it to three at the half. There were a total of five ties and three lead changes in the second half before RMU took the lead for good with 3:55 left. Both teams turned it over 21 times in a physical game that saw a total of 47 fouls called. Bill Clark went 5-of-12 from the arc in scoring a game-high 22 points for DU. Freshman T.J. McConnell went 4-of-5 from the field (3-of-3 from 3-point) in adding 12 for the Dukes. Senior Damian Saunders - a preseason first team Atlantic 10 pick had seven points, eight rebounds and three blocks in his first game of the season. Saunders, who played a game-high 33 minutes, missed Duquesne's two exhibition games as well as the season-opening win over Bluefield State due to a violation of team rules. DU is without starting PG Eric Evans who is recovering from Oct. 27 foot surgery (out 6-8 weeks).

DUQUESNE LATELY: Senior preseason All-A10 pick Damian Saunders had three blocks at Robert Morris to bring his career total to 219 ... he is 10 rejections shy of tying the school record of 229 set by Derrick Alston from 1991-94 ... Saunders' 205 career steals rank third on the all-time list, 13 short of tying the school mark of 218 set by Kenya Hunter from 1993-96 ... Saunders, the 2010 A-10 Defensive Player of the Year, put together the top defensive season in school history in 2010 with 2.8 steals/g. (2nd nationally), 11.3 rebounds/g. (6th nationally) and 2.9 blocks/g. (13th nationally) ... DU's 16 3-pointers in its 110-67 win over Bluefield State were one shy of the school record ... DU's 30 assists in that game (on 41 field goals) tied the third-highest total in school history ... Bill Clark, who flirted with a triple-double with 15 points, 8 rebounds and a career-high 9 assists vs. Bluefield State, followed that with a game-high 22 points in 25 minutes at Robert Morris ... Clark went 5-of-12 from the 3-point arc in the 69-63 loss ...freshman T.J. McConnell (12.5 ppg.) is shooting .818 (9-of-11) from the field, including .857 (6-of-7) from the 3-point arc ... five of Duquesne's first seven games are on the road or at neutral sites ... DU's next home game is Nov. 27 against UMBC.

THE SERIES: This is the 25th meeting between Duquesne and Bowling Green ... it also starts the second home-and-home series between the two since 2007-08 ... the Dukes swept that series with a 96-78 win at BGSU on Jan. 2, 2008 followed by a 76-65 Palumbo Center win on Dec. 31, 2008 ... DU holds a 15-9 edge in the series that began on Dec. 15, 1947 ... in games played at Bowling Green, the Falcons lead 7-4 ... the two teams met every year from 1951-52 through 1962-63 (15 total games) ... the two also played home-and-home series' in 1948-49, 1979-80 and 2001-02 ... the 2000-01 meeting was the first since Dec. 28, 1984 (first round of the Rochester Classic) ... Duquesne snapped a six-game road series losing streak in its last trip to Bowling Green (the 96-78 Jan. 2, 2008 win) ... Duquesne's last win at Bowling Green prior to the 2008 season was on Feb. 5, 1955 when the eventual NIT champions and then-No. 4 (AP) Dukes defeated the Falcons 64-54 ... DU is 10-17 against Mid-American Conference schools since 1989-90, including a 2-12 mark on the road ... head coach Ron Everhart, who is 2-3 against the MAC at Duquesne, owns one of the two road wins (at BGSU in 2008).

NOTING BGSU: This is Bowling Green's final season at Anderson Arena which has served as the Falcons' home since 1960 ... BGSU was 9-5 at home last season ... Bowling Green returns three of its top four scorers from 2010 in in forward Scott Thomas (13.6 ppg.), guard Dee Brown (10.6 ppg.) and guard Joe Jakubowski (8.3 ppg.) ... the threesome combined fo 108 3-pointers last season (36 for Thomas, 35 for Brown and 37 for Jakubowski) ... the Falcons were picked to finish fifth in the Eastern Division of the Mid-American Conference ... Thomas (13.0 ppg.) was named to the East Division Preseason All-MAC Team ... DU swept the last home-and-home series 96-78 at Bowling Green on Jan. 2, 2008 and 76-65 at the Palumbo Center on Dec. 31 2008 ... this is the first game of a home-and-home series.

DUKES ON THE ROAD: Ron Everhart inherited a Duquesne program that had won a total of 17 road games in the 10 seasons prior to his arrival. In his four-plus seasons, Everhart's Dukes have posted 21 road wins. Of the 21 wins, 14 have been by double digits. From 1996-97 through 2005-06 Duquesne posted a total of three double-digit road victories.
