NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Duquesne's Liz Homan was named Atlantic 10 Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week.

Homan led the Dukes to a 2-1 record this past week while hitting an impressive .405 hitting percentage. She had nine kills and hit .444 against Saint Louis, before a 19 kill, .378 hitting match in the Dukes' 3-1 win over Temple. She ended the weekend with 12 kills and hit .429, in a 3-0 sweep at Rhode Island. In addition to her .405 hitting percentage, she recorded 40 kills, 10 digs and four blocks for the week.

The Dukes, who set a DI program record with its 20th win of the season against URI, hit the road for a Friday matchup at Saint Louis.
