UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Duquesne women's cross country team finished in 18th place out of 31 teams at the 2010 Penn State National Open on Saturday morning.

Amber Valimont was first for the Dukes finishing in 52nd place and 22 minutes and 3 seconds. She was followed by Emily Ballantyne (91st/22:38), Meg Ecker (107th/22:53), Haley Pisarcik (119th/23:02), Bethany Walker (137th/23:16), Danielle Werley (147th/23:28) and Emma Rybczynski (159th/23:44) the field was a total of 304 runners.

Up next for the runners, will be the 2010 Atlantic 10 Championship on Oct. 30th The event will be held at Schenley Park and begins at 10am.
