CHICAGO - The Duquesne volleyball team dropped a pair of matches on Saturday - 3-1 (25-18, 25-17, 15-25, 25-23) to UIC and 3-0 to Georgia State (25-19, 25-22, 25-22) at the UIC Invitational.

Nicole Wright recorded a match-high 18 kills and 11 digs against UIC. Jessica Artman and Sara Scheirman each had nine kills against GSU.

Liz Homan, who finished the event with 24 kills while hitting .360, was named to all-tournament team.

The Dukes fall to 7-4 on the season heading into the West Virginia Invitational Sept. 19 and 20.
