Dukes Fall to Fordham and Rhode Island

Duquesne's women's swimming team dropped a pair of Atlantic 10 decisions Saturday afternoon at Fordham, falling to the host Rams, 161-73 and to Rhode Island, 118-115.

Miriam McGeath turned in a second place showing in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:22.16. Five other Dukes placed third in events - Angela Majkut (1,000 free), Meghann McGoldrick (50 free), Hannah Kondrotas (200 fly), Briana Mangis (200 back), Amanda McClelland (500 free).

The Red and Blue will take a week off before wrapping up the fall semester at the Akron Invitational, Dec. 4-6.
