The Duquesne women's cross country team finishes the 2009 season ranked #7 in the Mid-Atlantic region by the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The Dukes move up two spots from the week 6 poll.
After tying a program-best fourth place in the 2009 Atlantic 10 Championship, the Dukes had an incredible showing at the NCAA Regionals, placing seventh out of 27 teams in the most difficult NCAA region, the Mid-Atlantic.
