NEWPORT NEWS, VA. - Sophomore Meg Ecker (Lancaster, Pa./Penn Manor) was named to the 2009 Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference Team.

Ecker set a personal-best time this season of 18:50 in the Dukes' meet against Bucknell. She placed third overall at the Duquesne Duals and 12th at the 2009 Atlantic 10 Championship.

Ecker is majoring in physical therapy and had a GPA of 3.72. She is a member of Dean's List, Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll and Director of Athletics' Honor Roll.
