DU Swimmers Split a Pair of Matches at Bucknell

Results

Duquesne's women's swimming team split a pair of decisions on Saturday, bowing to the host Bison, 184-114, but downing St. Francis (PA), 142-120.

Freshman Miriam McGeath led the Dukes with two wins, taking the 200-yard butterfly in 2:07.72 and the 200 breaststroke in 2:23.68. Fellow frosh Hilary Hocson boasted the only other DU win with a 1:07.44 in the 100 breast.

A couple of Dukes had second place showings, including Hannah Kondrotas (1,000 free), Caitlin Zajko (100 breast), Kristi Magee (100 free), Anne Hayles (500 free) and Kirstie Shumaker (100 fly)

The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, Nov. 6 as they travel to Niagara for a 2:00 pm meet.
