PHILADELPHIA - For the second straight week in a row, a Duquesne volleyball player has been named rookie of the week. Liz Homan is this week's recipient. Tricia Mullen was named co-rookie of the week on Sept. 2.

Homan, who was named to the UMBC All-Tournament Team, finished with 28 kills and hit .456 while recording seven blocks. She set a personal-best with 12 kills in DU's 3-1 victory over Niagara Sept. 5.

Duquesne will face cross-town rival Pittsburgh at the Fitzgerald Field House Tuesday evening. The match begins at 7:00 p.m.
