PHILADEPHIA - Duquesne freshman outside hitter Tricia Mullen was named Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Week.

Mullen recorded 25 kills and 31 digs at the three-match Kent State Mizuno Open this past weekend. She had a career-best 13 kills in a 3-set match in DU's 3-0 victory over Chicago State.

This is the second time this season Mullen has been honored. She was named A-10 rookie of the week of Sept. 2.

The Dukes begin their A-10 slate Friday night at 7:00 p.m. against George Washington.
