Ten Dukes Qualify for Friday's Finals

Results

Ten Duquesne women's swimmers qualified Friday afternoon for the day three evening finals races. The Dukes were led by senior Kyla Favret's second place, school record time of 57.44 in the 100-yard backstroke and fellow senior Melissa Johnson's first place time of 1:51.86 in the 200-yard freestyle.

Also qualifying were freshmen Elizabeth Berk and Lori Yeaman in the 400 IM, freshman Kirstie Shumaker and junior Katrina Streiner in the 100 butterfly, seniors Katie McHugh and Mary Beth Goriniski in the breaststroke and freshmen Tara VanNatta and Briana Mangis in the 100 back.
