Red and Blue Place Fifth at A-10 Championship

Results

Duquesne's women's cross country team turned in a fifth place performance at Saturday's Atlantic 10 Championship in Charlotte. Freshman Hannah Ringo led the Dukes in 12th place and junior Katie Kelly followed in 14th place. Both were named to the All-Conference Team.

Hannah completed the 5K run in 15:35.4, followed by Kelly in 18:39.3, freshman Meghan Ecker (40th place) in 19:13.6, junior Sara Cimino (42nd) in 19:15.2 and freshman Meghan Van Houten (54th) in 19:23.2 for 151 team points. Richmond won the race with 48 team points.

The Dukes will compete in the NCAA Regional Championships on Nov. 15 in Princeton, N.J.
