PRINCETON, N.J. - The Duquesne's women's cross country team finished third out of 10 teams in the 2008 Princeton XC Invite (6k) Saturday afternoon.
Hannah Ringo had another strong performance for the Dukes as she finished seventh overall in a field of 137 runners. Ringo crossed with a time of 22:30.6.
Katie Kelly was 13th overall with a time of 22:42.4 followed by Sara Cimino (23rd/23:07.4), Meg Ecker (37th/23:30.9), Meghan Van Houten (45th/23:35.7), Carly Brickett (47th/23:40.9), Danielle Werley (65th/24:04.3), Bethany Walker (80th/24:20.1) and Alison Meyers (131st/27:24.5).
As a team, DU's total time was 1:55.27.0, with an average of 23:05.4 and 114 total places.
The is the final event before the 2008 Atlantic 10 Championship which will be held Nov. 1 on the campus of the University of North Carolina Charlotte.
