Results

Duquesne's women's cross country team placed third of 37 teams at the 2007 National Catholic Championship at Notre Dame. The Dukes trailed only the host Fighting Irish and Atlantic 10 foe Xavier.

Senior Samantha Howard paced the Red and Blue and finished second overall in the 306 runner field with a time of 17.44. Junior Emily Beahan was next for DU and eighth overall in 18:12 while sophomore Katie Kelly was 16th in 18:33.

The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, Sept. 28 as they compete in the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh.
