Freshman attach Janna Faulkner has been named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week after averaging two points per game while scoring points in all four games the past two weeks.

The award was not given out last week due to the Atlantic 10 Men's and Women's basketball tournaments.

Faulkner, who has started four of Duquesne's (3-2) first five games, is one of two Dukes to score a point in every game this season.

She is the first Duquesne lacrosse player to win the award since Meredith Norris took home Co-Rookie of the Week April 3 last season.

Duquesne returns to Rooney Field Saturday afternoon vs. Bucknell. Game time is at 1:00 pm.
